The electric vehicle segment has seen much activity in the recent times. The entry of Tesla in India was a great milestone in the electric vehicle department of India. New EVs like Hyundai Kona, MG ZS EV and Tata Nexon EV have only made the competition tougher. Though the charging network is not the best in India, the government is consistently making efforts to encourage EV purchases by special discounts and tax benefits.
