The Korean automaker Hyundai motor company all set to make a boom in hatchbacks with the all-new i20 2020. Already performing very nice and driving a high sales digits the new model will be launched with upgraded design and reformed interior. Hyundai Motor India has notified that the new i20 will be stepping into Indian markets next month i.e. November 2020 with an expected starting price of Rs.6.50 Lakh (ex-showroom). Everyone remembers how the i20 elite gave a solid competition after its first launch itself to Volkswagen Polo that was already existing in the market for a long time with a high reputation. New i20 2020 launch date in India has made the auto industry curious about what Hyundai is about to come up with.

Hyundai India has stated that the main focus on the new model is based on Proportion, Architecture, Styling and Technology. The all-new sporty design that you cannot resist to see is very striking. Hyundai Creta and Hyundai Venue are already considered under premium high performing machines of Hyundai but the new i20 is like getting much more out of hatchback class and is a definition of a new term called “premium hatchback”. The model picture that Hyundai has revealed until now clearly expresses the class of this car! It has got sleek headlights to give aggressive looks, even new Z-shaped tail lights are seen after a long time since i20 was launched, very sporty! The car looks spacious, provided with a very charismatic black interior that gives luxurious and sporty feel together. The dashboard is customised broader than before and a floating infotainment system is given in between.

Hyundai i20 2020 Variants
Variants, models and their on-road price of i20 2020 is not completely revealed right now and will be released at the time of launching. The car will be BS6 compliant and would be improved with other features too. I20 2020 is basically an updated version of the old i20 elite in various aspects. The new models may have the powerful turbo engine that would shoot up the power standard to a next level. Even if the turbo is not served in i20, it will serve you diesel powertrain which will provide you with the experience of power anyway. It will be launched in mainly three variants: 1.2 Litre petrol engine, 1.5 Litre diesel engine and 1.0 Litre petrol turbo engine. The diesel price of i20 would be hiked up than petrol variants and the new I20 BS6 engine would result to be very beneficial for the environment too. Three types of transmission are offered in the car: manual, automatic and iMT. iMT technology is not widely seen in Indian cars but Hyundai knows it well because the first iMT technology was introduced in Hyundai Venue in India. Other than technical specifications, four-spoke steering wheel and digital MID are also likely to be there in the car. Overall the car comprises all the upgraded and attractive features.
Reviews of the upcoming premium compact car are splendid and expected to be the King of hatchbacks. Competition is still not less, Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Toyota Glanza, Tata Altroz and Honda Jazz are the major rivals of i20 in the market but it will prove to be a different class. “The all-new i20 is designed to evoke an emotional human-machine interface representing the persona of modern tech-savvy, ambitious and sophisticated customers.
