Toyota Urban Cruiser, which is rebadged and reengineered version of the Maruti Vitara Brezza, is likely to be the first launch from the Japanese carmaker. The front styling of the model will be similar to the new, bigger Toyota SUVs. While its front grille, bumpers and plastic claddings will be different from the Vitara Brezza, the sheet metal will remain unchanged.

Inside, the Urban Cruiser is likely to get lighter shade upholstery and trim along with a few updates. The SUV will use the Vitara Brezza’s 1.5L petrol SHVS engine that’s good for 105bhp and 138Nm. Both manual and automatic gearboxes will be on offer.

The Toyota Innova Crysta CNG variant is likely to come in the third quarter of this year. Based on the entry-level G trim, the model will be powered by a 166PS, 2.7L, 4-cylinder petrol motor and a CNG kit. Unlike the petrol model that comes with both manual and automatic gearboxes, the new CNG variant will be made available with manual transmission only.

The 2021 Toyota Fortuner facelift was recently unveiled for the Thai market. Reports suggest that its updated model will hit roads during 2020 festive season.

The SUV is likely to witness minor cosmetic and feature upgrades including new grille, new LED headlamps with LED DRLs and newly-designed 18-inch alloys, updated infotainment system, wireless charging and more. Engine setup will include the same BS6 174bhp, 2.8L turbo diesel unit with a 6-speed manual and automatic gearbox option.

The 2021 Toyota Innova Crysta facelift is reported to launch by the end of this year or early next year. Some of its design updates are likely to be inspired by the new Toyota Sienna. The updated model might feature updated front grille and bumper, revised LED fog lamps and new alloys.
